Moeen Ali is all set to make his comeback in the upcoming Test Series against the world champions, Australians in the series that every fan is waiting for that is The Ashes which is also known as one of the best test series to be played between two teams in the world cricket. He has been consistent performer for England National Cricket Team in each format and his recent form is also amazing as he has played his this years IPL with the one of the most successful franchise that is Chennai based team, Chennai Super Kings.
He can be one of the best player to be performing in this year’s Ashes series as he has been in fine touch with the bat as well as bowl. He was already amazing with the ball in the test cricket but just due to the batting average low in the recent years he took the decision of retirement from the test matches for England as well as he wanted to perform for England in White ball cricket. He can easily fit in to the Baz ball approach of the England National Test team.
He was retired from the test cricket in the last test of England tour of India and he did that so that he can focus on his White ball Cricket as the T20 World Cup was around the corner in that year and England have recently won the T20 WC in 2022 in Australia and now he is again Out of the test Retirement and will play for England in the Greatest test series in the world that is The Ashes.
He has played around 11 test matches against the Aussies and he has 476 runs in those clashes with the average of over 25 and he has 2 fifties as well against them. He has taken 20 wickets in that match-up as well.
