Australia will definitely miss Josh in WTC final against India.
Josh has been replaced by the Michael Neser in the squad of Australia on the Sunday when the news of ruling out of Josh came out. The replacement Neser is playing county cricket for Glamorgan and he has taken 19 wickets in this season for the team. However it is confirmed that Scott Boland will replace Josh in the playing XI of Australia for the final of WTC against India.

The chairperson of the selectors of Australia and the former Wicketkeeper of Australia, George Bailey said in the interview after announcement of final Australian squad for WTC Final against India. He said that, “Josh was very, very close to being given the green light but our upcoming schedule means this is not a one-off Test match for us.”
He later added to his words that, “Michael's county form has been strong and knowing that he was going to be close by allowed for him to keep playing and for us to be able to call on him. He is a great strength to have as part of the fast-bowling group. This will give Josh an ideal preparation leading into Edgbaston. With six Test matches in a little over seven weeks we will need all of our fast-bowling assets.”
All he has said that due to the Josh’s Achilles and side injury, he was not given the permission to play the 5-day match against India even though he was bowling at his full speed durinh the training session. This was all done because of the most famous series, The Ashes will be started just after the WTC final in England.
The world test championship final will be locked on from 7th of June to 11th of June in Oval Stadium, London between the world’s No. 1 and No. 2 side according to ICC rankings.
